Airpura Industries was founded in 2004 in Quebec, Canada, by Helder Pedro. After observing how the declining outdoor air quality was affecting the air in our homes and, ultimately, people's health, Helder decided to do something about it. He realized that since people spent more than ninety percent of their lives indoors, which was a huge risk. So, he developed an air purifier prototype that could filter out all the chemicals, allergens, viruses, and bacteria from the air, leaving only clean air. Since then, Airpura has developed the 600 series of air purifiers, which include Airpura UV600, Airpura C600, and Airpura R600. This line of products features an innovative filtration system to filter out 99.97% of airborne chemicals, smoke, microorganisms, etc., as small as 0.3 microns. The company's products are manufactured at the facilities in Laval. Airpura Industries strives to have the smallest environmental footprint possible while creating an air purifier that delivers unparalleled performance.
