The AK Industries AKS10900 Tuf-Tite 9-Hole Septic Distribution Box is designed to evenly distribute wastewater effluent from a septic tank into the connected drain field lines. Constructed from injection-molded, UV-stabilized, and non-corrosive high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene, this unit provides exceptional strength and durability in septic environments. It features a configuration of nine connection points for 4-inch pipes, with patented snap-in pipe seals ensuring pliable, watertight connections. The box measures approximately 15 inches wide by 22 inches long by 15 inches high, with a 2-inch drop from the inlet to the outlets, facilitating gravity-fed flow. Installation is simplified, requiring placement on level virgin soil without the need for a concrete slab. It can also be fitted with an inspection port lid and is compatible with risers for extending access to grade.
