Product Overview
This American Granby BPBV1/2NL ball valve is engineered for efficient fluid flow control in plumbing systems. Constructed from forged lead-free brass, it features 1/2 inch push-on connections on both ends, often referred to as "fit x fit". This push-fit design enables quick and easy installation without the need for soldering, crimping, or glue, and is compatible with common pipe types such as copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing. The valve incorporates a full port design to ensure maximum flow and minimal pressure drop. Internal components include PTFE seats and a chrome-plated lead-free brass ball. It is certified lead-free in accordance with NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 standards, meeting requirements for safe drinking water by limiting lead content to no more than 0.25% across wetted surfaces.
