The American Granby BPRFA3/4X1/2NL is a no lead brass push-to-connect reducing adapter, designed for plumbing applications. This fitting features a 3/4-inch push-to-connect (also known as push-fit) inlet on one end and a 1/2-inch Female Pipe Thread (FPT or FNPT) outlet on the other, facilitating transitions between different pipe sizes and connection types. Constructed from no lead brass, it complies with the Safe Drinking Water Act, ensuring a weighted average lead content of no more than 0.25% on wetted surfaces, typically meeting standards such as NSF/ANSI 372 and 61 for potable water systems. Push-to-connect technology allows for quick, tool-free installation, eliminating the need for soldering, crimping, or glue, and providing a secure, leak-free seal. It is compatible with various pipe materials, including copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE.
