Ames Research Laboratories Paint & Prime 25 (PP251) is a water-based, pure acrylic latex paint and primer designed for both interior and exterior applications. This versatile coating functions as a high-hiding paint, primer, and waterproofer, offered in a tintable white color with a satin finish. It is formulated to resist fungus, mold, and mildew. The product is suitable for application on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, masonry, wood, metal, aluminum siding, plaster, and drywall. It provides a coverage rate of approximately 300-500 square feet per gallon per coat. For optimal results, application is recommended between 40°F and 90°F (10°C to 32°C) on warm, dry surfaces with humidity below 50%. The coating dries within 2-8 hours and fully cures in 7-10 days. It features an elongation of up to 650% and has a VOC content of less than 110 g/l, meeting SCAQMD compliance standa
