Product Overview
This Anchor Allied USA expanding polyurethane foam sealant, manufacturer code 50001, is a ready-to-use, multi-purpose product designed to fill and seal gaps, cracks, and cavities. It features a triple expansion action, allowing it to expand up to three times its original volume to create a comprehensive seal. The 12 oz can comes with a straw applicator for precise control, and the foam cures rigid. It adheres effectively to most common building materials, excluding Teflon, silicone, and polyethylene. Once cured, the foam is tack-free in approximately 10-15 minutes and can be cut, sanded, or painted after 60 minutes. This sealant provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, forms an airtight, water-resistant, and weatherproof barrier, reducing drafts and preventing the entry of air, moisture, and pests. It is UL Classified and formulated to be CFC and HCFC-free.
