Product Overview
The Anchor Allied USA 51001 is a 12 oz can of single-component, moisture-curing polyurethane foam sealant designed for window and door applications. This minimal expansion foam seals and insulates around frames, preventing bowing or distortion during cure due to its low-pressure build. It creates a permanent, airtight, and waterproof seal, effectively blocking drafts, moisture, insects, and rodents while enhancing energy efficiency and providing sound dampening. The cured foam adheres well to most building materials including wood, metal, masonry, glass, and many plastics, though it may not bond to polyethylene, Teflon, or silicone. Once cured, the foam is chemically inert, can be trimmed, shaped, sanded, and is paintable. Polyurethane foam offers high thermal resistance and contributes to a structure's overall R-value. This product is environmentally safe, containing no CFCs or HCFCs.
