Product Overview
The simple way to seal your marine electrical system. Ancor Adhesive-Lined Heat Shrink Tubing is manufactured to securely seal your vessel's electrical system and provide peace of mind when you're far from shore. You can use this tubing for rope whipping as well. Ancor's heat shrink tubing is made of cross linked polyolefin which is much stronger than PVC tubing and will not burn like PVC. The heat-activated adhesive is built into the lining of the heat shrink tubing, and when heated, it forms a watertight seal that's impervious to saltwater, oil, acids and sunlight, plus provides excellent vibration and strain relief. Sealed connections prevent corrosion which can reduce the carrying capacity of your electrical system. Over time, wire that is not sealed can degrade and break, leading to costly repairs.
