The Ancra/S-Line 557-15 ratchet tie-down strap is designed for securing cargo in heavy-duty transportation and truck/trailer applications. It features 2-inch wide, 15-foot long latex-coated polyester webbing, providing UV and abrasion resistance. The strap includes a chromate-coated steel ratchet mechanism with a 7.5-inch long wide handle and knurled aluminum grip for efficient tensioning. End securement is provided by powder-coated steel flat hooks, which incorporate an aluminum edge guard in the webbing slot to mitigate abrasion and wear between the hook and the strap. This assembly has a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 3,333 lbs (1,515 kg) and meets FMCSA, DOT regulations, CVSA, and WSTDA guidelines for cargo securement.
