Tru-Soft Evaporated Water Softener Salt Pellets are formulated from high-purity sodium chloride, featuring a minimum 99.9% NaCl content and virtually no insolubles, ensuring a clear brine solution. These pellets are produced using a mechanical vapor recompression evaporating system, where saturated brine is dried, compacted, and screened, with all lots tested for uniform dissolution to resist bridging and mushing in water softener units. The product meets AWWA standards for water softener salt, specifically AWWA B200, and is registered with the NSF, often compliant with NSF/ANSI 60 for drinking water treatment chemicals. Packaged in a 40 lb polyethylene film bag, these pellets are designed to remove hard water minerals like calcium and magnesium, enhancing the efficiency and lifespan of plumbing systems and appliances.
