Product Overview
The AquaStar PipeLine Filter PLF35000 is a high-performance cartridge filter designed for in-ground pools, accommodating up to 35,000 gallons for commercial use (6-hour turnover) and up to 144,000 gallons for residential use (12-hour turnover). With a filtration area of 250 square feet, it ensures efficient water purification while maintaining a compact footprint.
Filtration Efficiency:
The PLF35000 excels in filtration performance, having passed the NSF water clarity (turbidity reduction) test with just one turnover, similar to DE filters. This efficiency is achieved through engineered pleat spacing, 64% larger core openings, and a patented uniform tank design that promotes consistent flow from bottom to top, providing best-in-class filtration.
Hydraulic Performance:
This filter offers top-tier hydraulic performance, maintaining efficiency even after multiple cleanings. Notably, head loss increases by only 2% after cleaning, reducing stress on the pump and contributing to energy savings.
