The Cooper-Atkins 35235 AquaTuff Series Thermocouple Thermometer features an integrated bell surface probe designed for accurate temperature measurement of flat surfaces such as griddles and platens. Its patented Wrap&Stow design incorporates a heavy-duty, Kevlar-reinforced, metal-braided cable that neatly stores around the instrument. The thermometer is IPX7 waterproof rated and constructed with durable ABS plastic housing. It offers a wide temperature range of -100°F to 500°F (-73°C to 260°C). Accuracy for surface measurements is typically within +2.7°F and -6.3°F (+1.5°C and -3.5°C) under specified conditions. Features include a backlit LCD display, auto-off function after 10 minutes, a hold button, and Fahrenheit/Celsius switchability. Powered by two AAA batteries, it boasts an 1800-hour battery life.
