Product Overview
The Arrowhead Brass 258KIT is a gas log lighter valve kit designed to control the flow of gas to a log lighter bar, enabling ignition of wood in fireplaces and fire pits. This kit features a 1/2 inch FIP (Female Iron Pipe) straight valve constructed from heavy-duty red brass (80-83% copper) or bronze, ensuring durability and reliability. The valve is key-operated, utilizing a 5/16 inch square drive loose key stem, and includes a chrome-finished key and flange for a decorative appearance. It is rated to 154,000 BTU at a 1.0 inch water column and is tested at 100 PSI, featuring a Teflon seat washer for leak-free performance. The complete 258KIT also includes a log lighter bar with three 1/2 inch IPS inlets and two countersunk plugs. It is primarily designed for natural gas but can be adapted for liquid propane applications.
