The DR8EA SPARK PLUG (86-7162) consists of a highly pure alumina silicate insulator that provides exceptional dielectric and raw endurance. The combination of sophisticated ceramic characteristics and a triple gasket sealing method substantially precludes the risk of combustion gas leaking back through the shell. The shell is coated twice with a robust, corrosion-resistant zinc chromate coating for optimal rust resistance and has a solid copper core for better spark and heat transfer. The overall material used is of higher quality, resulting in longer life and better performance.
