This Baron Manufacturing 75211 U-bolt is a curved fastener, shaped like the letter U, with screw threads on both ends. It features a 5/16-inch rod diameter, a 2-inch inside width, and a 4-1/4-inch inside leg length, measured from the inside crown of the bend to the start of the threads. Constructed from steel, the U-bolt is zinc-plated, providing sacrificial corrosion resistance. U-bolts are primarily used for securing pipes, tubing, and other round or square objects to a flat surface or bracket. They are commonly supplied with two hex nuts and a washer plate to complete the assembly.
