Kidde 0919-9999 Battery Operated Smoke Detector with Wire-Free Interconnect

Kidde's Battery-Operated Wire-Free Interconnectable Smoke Alarm is powered by 3AA batteries and makes it easy to expand the protective coverage of your current interconnected system. This alarm features wire-free interconnectivity with Kidde RF-SM-ACDC and other Kidde RF-SM-DC units. If one unit is triggered, all interconnected alarms will sound. The smoke alarm shall work interconnected immediately out of the box without any user programming. A maximum of 24 Kidde devices can be interconnected in a multiple station arrangement. The interconnect system must not exceed the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) limit of 18 initiation devices, of which 12 can be smoke alarms. With 18 initiating devices (smoke, heat, CO, etc.) interconnected, it is still possible to interconnect 6 strobe lights and/or relay modules. Kidde Wire-Free Smoke Alarms enable you to extend the coverage and protection of interconnected smoke alarms without any need for additional wiring. You can even install this smoke detector in a detached garage or workshop and be alerted by another detector in the house.
