Product Overview
The CRL Amazing Glazing 3/8" Diamond Spot Facers is designed for drilling flat bottom holes in glass to a partial depth. The 100 grit diamond gives you just enough stock removal while leaving a nice, ground finish in your glass. The spot facer must be used in a center feed water coolant chuck. Belgian mounting style offers you a true running tool while supplying the constant cooling needed to prolong the life of the spot facer. When the spot facer becomes dull and it no longer performs, it can be re-plated. A center coolant feed is required. They can be re-plated when they are worn. Important Notes: Always wear the proper safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter must be used when using any type of electric tool in conjunction with water or coolant. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
