Product Overview
The B&K 164-305NL is a CPVC male transition adapter designed to connect CPVC piping to metal piping systems. This fitting features a solvent weld connection for 1-inch nominal CPVC pipe on one end and a 1-inch Male Iron Pipe (MIP) thread on the other, which complies with ANSI B1.20.1 standards. Constructed from CPVC and lead-free brass, it is suitable for both hot and cold potable water distribution systems. The adapter's brass hex is engineered to prevent the CPVC from breaking during wrench tightening, and it is compliant with federal low-lead laws. CPVC components of this type are generally intended for use in systems complying with ASTM D2846 for hot and cold water distribution. It features a one-piece design to ensure a secure and watertight connection.
