This B&K Industries 164-315NL CPVC Transition Female Adapter is designed to connect 1-inch Copper Tube Size (CTS) CPVC piping to a 1-inch Female National Pipe Thread (FNPT) connection. It is constructed from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) and brass, with the CPVC end featuring a socket for solvent welding to CPVC pipe and the brass end providing a female pipe thread for connection to male-threaded components. CPVC fittings for potable water distribution typically meet NSF/ANSI 14 and NSF/ANSI 61 certifications and conform to ASTM D2846 for CTS systems. Many similar transition adapters are rated for temperatures up to 180°F and pressures up to 100 PSI
