The B&K 520-813 is a 1/2-inch nominal pipe size black malleable iron side outlet tee. This pipe fitting features female threaded (FPT) ends that comply with Iron Pipe Size (IPS) standards, typically conforming to ANSI B1.20.1 for tapered pipe threads. Side outlet tees are designed to create a three-way connection in a piping system, allowing two pipes to join at a 90-degree angle with a third pipe running through the intersection. These 150-lb class malleable fittings are commonly used in applications for natural gas, LP gas, oil, steam, and air. They are suitable for non-potable water systems but are not intended for potable water applications. The fitting can withstand pressures up to 500 PSI at 150°F
