Product Overview
The B&K 586-045HC is a black steel pipe nipple, 1-1/4 inches in nominal pipe size and 4-1/2 inches long. Manufactured from Schedule 40 black steel pipe, this nipple features tapered National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on both ends, conforming to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standards. Designed for connecting two threaded pipes or fittings, it is suitable for use in gas, oil, air, and non-potable water systems across residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The material meets or exceeds ASTM A53/A106 and ASTM A733 material requirements.
