CRL 100+ Load Bearing Butyl Architectural Glazing Tape is made from a blend of rubber polymers. It is designed for glazing large lites of glass exceeding 100"* without the need for spacer shims. 100+ Tape transfers high wind loads evenly, from the glass to the window frame, and will accommodate high wind loading at elevated temperatures. It enables the project to be glazed from the inside. The 100 percent solids content formula will not shrink or absorb moisture, but will compress to accommodate variances in pocket width. It comes on release paper rolls and is positioned for quick alignment during installation. Application temperature range is 20° to 120° (-7° to 49°C), and life expectancy if properly applied is 20 years.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS
AAMA 804.3, 806.3, and 807.3, ASTM C1281.
