Product Overview
The Black 3/16" Thick x 3/16" Wide Edgetech 66 ft Roll is an insulating silicone foam spacer used in the fabrication of insulating glass units. This spacer is designed to accommodate glass bowing and thermal movement in window assemblies. It is suitable for regular and special shaped insulating glass units, including curved, odd-shaped, sound-insulating, and triple-glazed units with art glass inserts. The material is UV-resistant silicone, which helps prevent degradation over time. The spacer features a multi-layer barrier film backing to reduce moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss. The permeability of the foam allows for moisture pick-up. Each roll provides 66 ft of material. This product requires the use of an edge sealant, such as hot melt butyl or specialized sealant, for proper application. It is available in a black finish.
