Product Overview
The Black 5/8" Wide Edgetech 66 Foot Roll is an insulating silicone foam spacer designed for the fabrication of insulating glass units. This spacer is used to reduce perimeter edge condensation and window heat loss. Constructed from UV resistant silicone material, the spacer is designed for use in various insulating glass designs, including curved, odd shaped, sound insulating, and triple-glazed units with art glass inserts. The flexible foam structure accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement while allowing for moisture pick-up. The spacer features a multi-layer barrier film to reduce moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss. Each roll measures 66 ft in length, with a width of 5/8" and a thickness of 1/4". This product requires the use of an edge sealant, such as hot melt butyl or 877 super spacer sealant, for proper application. The spacer has a shelf life of 36 months and is available in a black finish.
