It's designed to be installed to the outside cladding edge before the glass is set in place, eliminating the difficulty and risk of reaching over the guard rail for seal installation. Use CRL's BSG100 or BSG500 Roll-In Glazing Gasket to finish off top inside edge of the base shoe pocket.
