Product Overview
The Black Self-Adhesive Bulb Weatherstrip is designed for application to the stop perimeter of a frame to reduce energy loss, noise, and dust infiltration. Constructed from Santoprene, this weatherstrip is suitable for use on labeled openings up to 90 minutes and is tested in accordance with ASTM E-283. The weatherstrip features a width of 1/2" and a height of 1/4". The self-adhesive backing allows for installation on various frame surfaces, requiring only a utility knife or scissors to cut to the required size. This product is provided in a 100 ft roll length. The material is designed to maintain its physical properties in varying temperatures, resisting cracking or crazing in cold or heat. For installation, if the release paper on the two-sided tape is difficult to peel, pinch the end of the bulb seal and roll the bulb between your thumb and index finger to break the seal between the paper and tape. This black finish weatherstrip is intended for door and window weatherization.
