Step 5. Drill your holes where you have marked your screw holes, and then remove the masking tape. Next, you need to attach the hooks, and that's it!

Step 3. Then you need to place the hook on top of your marked location and pencil in the screw holes, where you will drill the pilot holes for the anchors. Do use a level to make sure they are straight.
Step 4. In the next step, you need to put the anchor next to the drill bit and tape the bit to the exact length of the anchor. This will let you know how far you can drill, so you don’t drill through the door.
Step 5. Drill your pilot holes slowly until you've reached the limit you've set with the masking tape.
Step 6. Add the anchors to your pilot holes. Then, place the hook on top of the anchors and slowly tighten the screws into the anchors. And that's it – you've installed a coat hook on your door!
