The CRL Scratch Polishing Kit is an economically priced, lightweight and portable glass restoration solution to remove light surface scratches from automobile windshields. It can be used to polish out rubs, fine lines, stains and discolorations on mirrors or any kind of glass.
The CRL Heavy-Duty Scratch Polisher is fitted with a high-quality wool felt wheel that will polish virtually all types of glass, including windshields, sheet glass, edges, bevels and watch crystals. It can be used as either a bench-mounted or hand-held polisher with excellent results.
Cerium Oxide from CRL is a high-grade optical polishing compound used to lessen and polish scratches from mirror bevels, table top edges, glass in vehicles or structures. CO301, which is intended to be used with the CRL9257 scratch polisher, has excellent suspension qualities and will not harden. It does not zinc oxide, and meets most local disposal ordinances.
3M™ Trizact™ films are a cleaner, long-lasting abrasive system for glass restoration, specifically scratch repair. The discs can be used in:
- Removing larger scratches and defects
- Removing moderate scratches and defects
- Removing scuffs and acid marks
- Refining scratches
- Polishing glass for a crystal clear effect
3M™ Trizact™ Disc Pads
Medium Trizact™ Disc pads are intended for flat glass, while soft disc pads are used for curved glass. A popular option is ZDP3P58S, which needs to be used with CRL 3M® PSA Mount Flexible Diamond Discs, and is available in 3'' and 5'' sizes.
3M™ Trizact™ Scratch Removal Starter Kits
You can get started easily with this kit, which uses a hand-held electric drill and includes four 3'' disc pads for quick change-out of discs. If you have a hand-held cordless or 110V AC Electric Drill with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, you can remove very fine or very deep scratches.
3M™ Trizact™ Professional Scratch Removal System
This professional glass restoration kit has an on-demand water delivery system that uses plain water delivered through the center of the pad, meaning very little is required. It comes with four grades of abrasive discs to remove deep scratches, and a cerium oxide pad to polish the glass.
