CRL Blumcraft®'s RG200 Series Two Piece Base Shoe System is offered in stock lengths or custom fabricated to size with or without factory installed 1/2" (12 mm) glass panels. The system permits easy glass panel installation and replacement by means of bolts. CRL Blumcraft®'s Glass Railing Systems are designed to meet and exceed typical code requirements for guard rail applications.
Typical Mountings for 1/2" (12 mm) Glass, Steel Sub-Structures by Others.
GLASS SPECIFICATIONS: 1/2" (12 mm) Thick Glass Using Wet Glaze System.
TEMPERED GLASS: Shall be 1/2" (12 mm) thick safety glass meeting the requirements of ANSI Standard 297.1 for Safety Glazing Materials and Consumer Product Safety Commission Standard 16 CFR 1201 Categories 1 and 2.
INSTALLATION NOTE: The RG200 base is furnished with pre-drilled thru holes 12" (305 mm) O.C. spacing for 1/2"-13 Flat Socket Head Cap Screws. Customer to drill and tap thru 1/2" (12 mm) thick (minimum) continuous steel plate using RG200 base as a template for hole location.
SHIPPING NOTE: Due to the difficulty in packaging and handling 144" (3.65 m) stock lengths, it is suggested that you take delivery of these at any of our distribution centers. If requiring shipment, all packaging and handling concerns must be agreed to by CRL and the customer prior to shipping. All shipping arrangements will be documented on your quotation for your signed approval.
