Product Overview
The Boshart Industries 0825-03NL is a 3/8 inch Female Pipe Thread (FPT) full port ball valve, part of the 0825NL Series. It is constructed from lead-free forged C46500 brass for the body and end cap, featuring a SS304 stainless steel ball, C37700 brass stem, and PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) seats and packing. The valve incorporates a blow-out proof stem and a zinc-plated steel handle with a yellow PVC sleeve. Designed for potable water applications, it complies with the Federal Safe Water Drinking Water Act lead-free requirements and is certified to NSF/ANSI 372 for lead content and NSF/ANSI 61 for drinking water system components. It has a maximum pressure rating of 600 PSI for water, oil, or gas (WOG) at ambient temperatures and 150 PSI for working steam pressure (WSP). The operating temperature range is -20°F to 300°F (-29°C to 149°C), and its threads conform to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1. This product may also be identified by some distributors as Series 81
