The Boshart Industries 0825CNL Series full port ball valve, model 0825C-05NL, is engineered for on-off flow control in plumbing and various piping systems. Constructed from a C46500 lead-free forged brass body, it features 1/2 inch CXC (copper-to-copper) solder connections that comply with ANSI B16.18 standards. This valve is rated for a 600 PSI Cold Working Pressure (CWP), also known as 600 WOG (Water, Oil, Gas), and 150 PSI Working Steam Pressure (WSP), with an operating temperature range of -20°F to 300°F (-29°C to 149°C). It incorporates a blow-out proof C37700 brass stem, a solid stainless steel ball, and PTFE seats and stem packing for reliable operation. The valve is certified to NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 and cUPC IGC 157, meeting Federal Safe Water Drinking Water Act lead-free requirements, making it suitable for potable water, gas, irrigation, and light industrial applications.
