Product Overview
This Boshart Industries PENL-PFC1007 push-to-connect reducing coupling is designed for quickly joining two pipes of different diameters without the need for soldering, crimping, or special tools. It features a lead-free brass body, equipped with a stainless steel gripper ring and an EPDM O-ring to create a secure, watertight seal. The coupling connects 1" nominal copper tube size (CTS) piping to 3/4" CTS piping. It is compatible with copper, CPVC, PEX, HDPE, and PE-RT pipe materials and is suitable for potable water, plumbing, and hydronic heating systems, including repairs in wet conditions. The fitting is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 200 PSI. Its design allows for installation behind walls and underground, and it can be rotated after assembly for easier alignment. Disconnection is possible with a specialized tool, allowing for reuse.
