Product Overview
The Boshart Industries BPF Series push-to-connect reducing elbow, model BPF-E0705NL (catalog code PENL-PFE0705), is constructed from forged DZR (dezincification resistant) no-lead brass. Designed for plumbing and hydronic heating systems, it creates a 90-degree directional change, reducing from a 3/4-inch to a 1/2-inch pipe size. This fitting features push-fit connections compatible with copper, CPVC, and PEX piping, eliminating the need for soldering, crimping, or solvent welding. It can be rotated after assembly and is suitable for potable water, underground, and behind-wall applications (with proper wrapping). Rated for a maximum pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum temperature of 200°F (93°C). It is ASSE 1061-2006, cUPC Certified, and complies with NSF/ANSI 372 (No Lead) and NSF/ANSI 61 standards for potable water. Integral polysulfone tube support is included for use with PEX pipin
