Product Overview
This Boshart Industries PENL-PFFA05 BPF Series push-to-connect x female pipe thread (FPT) adapter facilitates a secure and watertight connection between 1/2 inch Copper Tube Size (CTS) piping and a 1/2 inch female pipe threaded connection. Constructed from forged DZR (dezincification resistant) no-lead brass (C89550), it features a 301 stainless steel grip ring, POM release and retaining rings, a Nylon 66 spacer, and an EPDM 70 O-ring. Designed for use with copper, CPVC, PEX, PE-RT, and HDPE tubing, this fitting eliminates the need for soldering, crimping, or solvent welding. It is rated for a maximum pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum temperature of 200°F (93°C). The adapter is NSF/ANSI Standard 14, 61, and 372 certified for drinking water system components and complies with UPC Standard ASSE 1061 for push-fit fittings. It includes an integral polysulfone tube support for PEX installations and is approved for both underground and behind-the-wall application
