Product Overview
This Boshart Industries PENL-PFFE05 push-to-connect elbow provides a 90-degree change in direction, connecting 1/2" copper tube size (CTS) piping to 1/2" female pipe thread (FPT) connections. Constructed from lead-free DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass for the body, with a 301 stainless steel grip ring, POM release and retaining rings, EPDM O-ring, and polysulfone tube support, it ensures reliable and corrosion-resistant performance. The fitting is designed for quick, tool-free installation and is compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, and PE-RT pipes. It is approved for use in potable water and hydronic heating systems, including underground and behind-the-wall applications. The elbow can be rotated after assembly and is reusable with a disconnect clip. It has a maximum working pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum temperature rating of 200°F
