This Boshart Industries PENL-PFMA05 adapter facilitates the connection between 1/2-inch push-fit compatible piping and a 1/2-inch male pipe thread. Constructed from lead-free DZR brass, it provides a secure, watertight seal without the need for soldering, crimping, or special tools. Designed for quick and easy installation, this adapter is suitable for potable water and hydronic heating applications, compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT piping. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum temperature of 250°F, meeting standards such as NSF 61 and ASSE 1061. The fitting can be rotated after installation for convenience in tight spaces and is approved for underground and behind-the-wall use
