Product Overview
This Boshart Industries 9191L Series swing check valve (model PENL-SCV12) is designed to prevent backflow in plumbing and heating systems. It is constructed from lead-free cast brass (ASTM B584, C89550) with a forged brass disc, ensuring corrosion resistance and reliable sealing performance. The valve features a 1-1/4 inch female NPT threaded connection and is rated for a maximum pressure of 200 PSI WOG (Water, Oil, Gas) non-shock and 125 PSI WSP (Working Steam Pressure) at ambient temperatures. It meets federal Safe Water Drinking Water Act lead-free requirements, California AB1953, and is certified to NSF/ANSI 61-8 and NSF/ANSI 372 for potable water applications. This valve can be installed in horizontal lines or vertical lines with upward flow, automatically allowing fluid movement in one direction only.
