Product Overview
This 9191L Series lead-free brass swing check valve, Boshart Industries model PENL-SCV20, is designed to prevent fluid backflow in plumbing and heating systems, allowing flow in only one direction. It features a lead-free cast brass body (ASTM B584, C89550 alloy) and a forged brass disc (ASTM B584, C89550 alloy). The valve is rated for 200 PSI WOG (Water, Oil, Gas) non-shock pressure and 125 PSI WSP (Working Steam Pressure), with a maximum temperature rating of 180°F (82.2°C). It is suitable for oil, gas, and diesel fuel applications, but not for combustible gas or steam applications. Connections are 2-inch Female NPT (FPT). The valve is certified to NSF/ANSI 61-8 and NSF/ANSI 372, meeting federal Safe Water Drinking Water Act lead-free requirements.
