This Boshart Industries UBRN-0720 pipe nipple is manufactured from seamless Schedule 40 C23000 no-lead red brass, an alloy with a higher copper content (typically 85% copper and 15% zinc) than yellow brass. It features a 3/4 inch nominal pipe size and is 2 inches in length, with American National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on both ends, conforming to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standards. This lead-free fitting is certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 for safe use in drinking water systems, offering excellent corrosion resistance against water, salt water, and minerals. It is designed for secure, leak-free connections in potable water distribution, plumbing, industrial, and agricultural systems, as well as high-corrosion environments like wells or basements.
