Product Overview
The Brass AMR Series Patch Lock is a hardware component designed for commercial and residential door applications. This patch lock features a high density cast body with an integrated lock mechanism, suitable for mounting on the top, bottom, or vertical edge of a door. It is compatible with 3/8" and 1/2" glass thicknesses, utilizing included gaskets for proper fit. The lock bolt has a diameter of 5/8" and a bolt length of 11/16". The unit measures 6-7/16" in width and 2" in height. For installation, glass fabrication is required, involving a 3/4" diameter hole and either a corner notch for top or bottom mounting, or a U-cutout for side mounting. This lock can be secured to a jamb using the supplied keeper or to a glass panel with an optional sidelite mount keeper. For double door installations, a bottom patch lock is required on the inactive leaf. Please note that cylinders are not included and must be ordered separately, with options available for double keyed cylinders or single keyed cylinders with thumbturn. The product comes with a template and installation instructions. This lock is finished in brass, which may develop an oxidized appearance over time.
