Product Overview
The Brass AMR215 Series Patch Lock is a heavy-duty patch lock designed for commercial and residential door hardware applications. This lock features a taller profile housing that provides coverage for glass panels in top and bottom corner installations. Constructed with a high-density cast body, the lock includes a 5/8" diameter lock bolt with an 11/16" bolt length. It is compatible with 3/8" and 1/2" glass thicknesses, utilizing included gaskets for proper fit. The lock measures 2-9/16" in height and 6-1/8" in width. Installation requires glass fabrication, specifically one 3/4" diameter hole and one corner notch for top or bottom mounting. This lock can be operated with double keyed cylinders or a keyed cylinder and thumbturn, which are ordered separately. A keeper is supplied with the unit, and optional keepers are available for specific installation requirements. For double door applications, a bottom patch lock is required on the inactive leaf to secure the pair of doors. The unit comes with a template and instructions for installation. The lock is finished in polished brass, providing a classic aesthetic for door hardware systems.
