Product Overview
The BrassCraft NV105-4X Straight Needle Valve, part of the NV105 Series, is constructed from brass with a rough brass finish and incorporates an EPDM packing washer. Designed for use in instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within automotive and industrial applications, it facilitates positive sealing and flow adjustment through metal-to-metal seats with fine thread engagement. This valve connects via 1/4 inch OD compression fittings on both ends, supplied with a compression nut and sleeve. It features a pressure rating of 150 psi (some sources indicate 125 psi) and operates effectively across a temperature range of -65 to 250°F (-54 to 121°C); for water applications, it is rated for 40 to 140°F (4 to 60°C). The valve is compliant with low-lead requirements (NSF/ANSI 372) and is IAPMO and CSA listed. It is not intended for natural gas, LPG, nuclear, or aircraft applicati
