Product Overview
Window Channel Balance is designed to provide smooth and balanced sash movement in vertical sliding and lift window systems. It features an aluminum channel with an aluminum finish, measuring 21" in length, 9/16" in width, and 1/2" in depth. Built to support sash weights ranging from 15 to 23 lbs, this balance helps maintain even window motion and alignment. The assembly comes attached with a 60-508a plastic top sash guide and a 60-503a plastic bottom sash guide for accurate installation and operation. The top sash guide measures 9/16" width, 11/16" Depth and 1-1/4" height, while the bottom sash guide measures 15/16" width, 1-1/16" height and 3/8" mounting tab Depth. These plastic guides reduce friction and help the sash move vertically without tilting or dragging. The aluminum channel provides tension and balance, while the guides hold the sash in the correct track position. This model includes clips and a rivet for secure mounting. Commonly used in double-hung window systems, it serves as a direct replacement for worn or damaged channel balances, restoring window stability and consistent sash operation.
