Product Overview
The Window Channel Balance with attached sash guide is designed to restore smooth operation in single or double-hung windows. Made from aluminum material, this balance helps support the window sash for controlled movement during opening and closing. The channel measures 35" in length, 9/16" in width, and 1/2" in depth, fitting windows with sash weights between 30 to 34 lbs. This balance comes with plastic sash guides in white finish for both the top (60-507a) and bottom (60-501a) ends. The top guide measures 1-1/4" in height with a 9/16" upper width, 1/2" bottom width, and 23/32" depth. The bottom guide measures 1-1/8" in height, 15/32" in width, and 1" in depth. These guides assist in proper window alignment, allowing even and steady sliding motion. The internal window spring mechanism distributes sash weight evenly across the frame, keeping the window stable at any desired position.
