Product Overview
The Spacer Propeller Nut is designed for use with OMC King Cobra (1994) lower units and Volvo Penta SX-M (1994) lower gearcase models. It is like the thrust washer that assists the alignment of the prop to the shaft when the inner hub is unable to hold its shape at the end of the propeller. It prevents it from moving aft with its large surface area and bears reverse thrust loads. The final washer and nut prevent the spacer from moving aft, secures the prop to the shaft, and helps thrust to transfer reverse.
