Product Overview
Engineers use needle valves, also known as plunger valves, to control and regulate water flow and pressure. Ther is precision through fine shaft movement, which allows the gearbox to slide the piston tube towards the opening or closing position, according to the control system's requirements. Using needle and plunger valves is possible with higher differential pressures than diaphragm control valves. A typical needle valve line covers a pressure range up to PN40 and on request to PN100. Our standard size range is DN80 to DN1600, with DN2000 available on request. Needle valves can be manually operated or electrically, hydraulically, or pneumatically controlled.
