OMC 987661 is now obsolete (older part numbers 986654, 987498). This cable is compatible with all normal carbureted Cobra drives (not King Cobra) from 1988 to 1993. If the cable and shift arm has been changed to the red cable, it will also suit previous versions from 1986 and 1987.
