Butyl Rubber Caulk is an elastomer-based sealant for use on several dissimilar construction surfaces. It has exceptional adhesion to common surfaces such as metal, glass, wood, brick, stone, and paint. CRL offers PTI 707 that does not harden or lose flexibility, adhesion, or elongation after prolonged exposure to high or low temperatures and ultraviolet light. It is recommended for glazing of glass, heel and toe beading, and complete channel bedding. This also works well with metal-to-metal panel seals, perimeter seal around doors, windows and masonry intersections, bedding for mullions, framed openings and coping areas, curtain wall sealants, end dams, and splice joints.
