Product Overview
Protect your engine against freeze damage and continue boating into the cooler months with this safe, ignition-protected engine compartment heater. Ideal for heating bilge/engine compartments, Pali BilgeSafe Heaters utilize energy-efficient, self-regulating PTC heating elements that cannot overheat and meet all requirements for ignition protection. In addition to protecting engines against freeze damage, these heaters reduce corrosion by keeping engine compartments drier. Batteries also benefit by a reduction of cold temperatures, which can shorten battery life. Red LED indicates when the heater is running and heating the engine compartment. An internal, hermetically sealed thermostat turns the heater on at 41 degreeF (5 degreeC) and off at 60 degreeF (18 degreeC). A quick-release mounting plate is included for easy heater installation and removal.
