The Cal-Royal 5000 Series (5000EO36) is a non-handed, Grade 2 push bar rim exit device designed for emergency egress on commercial and institutional doors. It is suitable for 1-3/4 inch thick doors with a minimum 3-3/4 inch stile width. The device features a heavy-gauge steel chassis construction, a painted rail assembly, and a 3/4 inch throw stainless steel latch bolt. It includes an Allen-type key dogging feature for holding the latch retracted on non-fire-rated installations. The exit device is finished in aluminum and is UL Listed for Panic, conforming to UL10C, UBC 7-2-1997 codes, and ADA regulations. It is paired with a Cal-Royal 8000L key-in-lever trim, which offers a classroom function (ANSI F08); an exterior key locks or unlocks the lever, while the interior push bar always allows free egress. The 8000L trim is Grade 2 and finished in US26D satin chrome, with a standard 6-pin solid brass C keyway.
